About

A PCB editor in your browser, with an AI copilot built in.

Cherry Blossom is a schematic and PCB editor that runs in the browser. You can draw a board by hand, or describe it to Sakura, the copilot, and let it place the parts, wire the nets and route the board.

What it does today

  • Schematic capture with a built-in parts library: passives and regulators, chips like the 555 and ATmega328P, and modules like the ESP32 and Raspberry Pi Pico.
  • Two-layer PCB layout, with interactive routing, an autorouter, copper pours and stitching vias.
  • Design checks that catch unconnected pins, shorts, clearance problems and design-rule violations before you send a board to a fab.
  • A 3D view of the finished board.
  • Fabrication files in one zip: Gerbers, drill files, a bill of materials and a pick-and-place file.
  • Projects saved to your account, so they open on any computer you sign in from.

Sakura, the copilot

Ask Sakura for a board and it adds the parts, makes any part the library is missing, wires the nets, lays out and routes the board, and runs the checks, all inside the editor. Each change it makes is a separate undo step, so you can walk back through its work.

Sakura comes with the Pro and Ultra plans. The Free plan is the whole editor without it.

What it costs

  • Free is $0 and gets you the complete editor, by hand.
  • Pro is $20 a month and adds Sakura, with 600 AI actions a day and 4M credits a month.
  • Ultra is $140 a month for 8× Pro's allowance, plus Sakura 2 High.

Yearly prices and on-demand usage are on the pricing page.

What it doesn't do yet

It can't yet do boards with more than two layers, simulation, hierarchical sheets, real-time collaboration, project sharing or version history. If one of those is what stops you using it, tell us.

Who builds it

Cherry Blossom is built by a small team of engineers. It is an early product and it changes often. We are based at PLT, Université Laval, local 0314, Québec, Canada. The quickstart walks through a first board.

The editor is free, with no card. Sakura starts at Pro.
